Meet Dr. Jina Naghdi

It is my privilege and true honor to be able to provide such a life-changing service to my patients, and to know that I had the opportunity to touch so many lives and to give back to the community that has trusted me and my team for over 25 years.

What I cherish the most is the lasting relationships that I have made with my patients and their families. I look at every patient as a member of our extended family and treat each one of them as if they are family. It is my great satisfaction to see how the change that I make in their smiles makes such a great impact and difference in their self-esteem and self-confidence.

Of course, I am nothing without my team. I look at my staff as my second family; we share the same goal to work together as a unit to provide the best care to our patients in a fun, friendly environment. They all enjoy their work and we all look forward to coming to work every day to do our best to provide our patients with the best orthodontic experience possible.

As an orthodontist, I get to interact with people of all ages ranging from children to teens to adults and even grandparents! I feel privileged to be able to give them the gift of a lifetime of beautiful smiles that they get to enjoy throughout their lives.

Education and Continuing Education

I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduated as valedictorian from my local high school. I received a Bachelor's Degree with highest honors in Chemistry from Franklin and Marshall College. I continued on to earn my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of Maryland, where I was also a member of honorary societies for excellence in education. I completed a three-year, full-time program in orthodontics in 1994 at the University of Maryland, where I also completed a Master's degree in Oral Biology.

As a practicing orthodontist since 1994, I have taught and attended many continuing education courses for orthodontists on the latest treatment modalities and technology. I strive for excellence in every aspect of my life, and I am committed to bringing you the very best in orthodontic care.

Dr. Jina Naghdi has been voted by her professional peers as one of the top orthodontists in the Northern Virginia area for many years in a row. She has been featured in Washingtonian Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, Virginia Living Magazine and Consumer's research Magazine as one of America's Top Dentists.

Dr. Naghdi has been selected for the 2018 Best of Herndon Awards in the category of Dentistry and Orthodontics. The Best of Herndon Award is a great accomplishment since it recognizes the best of local businesses in our community, and only one winner is selected per category for each town. This recognition is a result of Dr. Naghdi’s dedication and excellent care that she provides to her patients.

Dr. Naghdi has also been named one of the Top 10 Best Orthodontists for Patient Satisfaction in the entire state of Virginia 2 years in a row by the American Institute of Dental Professionals!
